The Quartz type (Japanese クリスタルタイプ Crystal-type) is a fanon Pokemon type.
This type was first discovered alongside the rare Crystal Onix. It surpasses Steel type in defense since common metals have lower hardness than the mineral quartz and other common crystals. It is also the most resistant type against others.
Please note that these only apply to certain Pokémon games.
