Dexter's Laboratory: Curse of the Liquid Binary is a platforming video game based on the Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory, developed by Tricom and released on June 17, 2005 on Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows XP. It was also re-released on Steam on July 17, 2015, with this port being better optimized for later Windows operating systems.

Gameplay[]

In Dexter's Laboratory: Curse of the Liquid Binary, the player takes control of Dexter and his sister Dee Dee. The two characters traverse through 3D levels in the home console and PC versions, while 2D levels are featured in the Game Boy Advance version.

Story[]

In desperation to prove his intellectual superiority after he receives a B on his progress report, Dexter signs up for his school's upcoming talent show and seeks out resources to craft his most brilliant, groundbreaking creation yet. On a trip to space, he manages to infiltrate an alien warship and steal a strange liquid substance that the aliens were using as an energy source for their machinery.

Dubbing this substance "Binarium," Dexter takes it home to Earth with him and experiments with it in his lab, soon realizing that it is greatly enhancing all of his technological equipment. Ecstatic from this revelation, he prepares several vials of Binarium for the talent show - but all of a sudden, Dee Dee bumps into him while practicing a ballet dance, causing the vials to shatter on the floor. The Binarium then leaks into the sewage system beneath Dexter's lab and soon begins to affect the minds of people all over town.

Dexter and Dee Dee team up and exit the lab to set things right, but behind their backs, Mandark grabs the remaining Binarium and warps away in a flash of light...
