- The members' titles all relate to the Four Symbols in the Chinese constellation that are represented by mythical creatures: the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise (also called "Black Warrior") of the North. The fifth and uncommonly mentioned symbol that represents the Central creature is the Yellow Dragon/Qilin.
