[edit]Coined by organization Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran in the 1990's from a blend of Tsino + Pinoy,[1][2] first attested in their publication The Chinese in the Philippines: Problems and Perspectives, Volume 2. See also Indonesian chindo.
