Ingotcorundum

Inventory view of a Corundum Ingot.

For other uses, see Ingots.

Ingots can be created by melting ore at a smelter. Ore can also be purchased from most blacksmiths, such as Alvor in Riverwood. Ingots can then be used to create weapons and armor, depending on one's Smithing level.

Trivia[]

  • Smelting ore into ingots does not yield Smithing experience, as would crafting or improving weapons or armor.
  • The chests at the top of the guard towers near the Riften Stables always possess a random ingot.
