Castle Ensis is a legacy dungeon in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Overview[]

Castle Ensis is a medium-sized fortification within the Realm of Shadow, connecting the Gravesite Plain to the Scadu Altus. Located north-northeast of the Three Paths Cross Site of Grace, the castle lies east of Belurat, Tower Settlement, across the Ellac Greatbridge. Castle Ensis is adjacent to the Fog Rift Fort and the Fifth Belfry.

Castle Ensis is the stronghold of Rellana, a member of the Carian Royal Family.^[1][2] Rellana and her oathsworn followed Messmer the Impaler on his crusade against the hornsent.^[3][4] As a result, the castle is populated by the enchanted knights of Caria and many Messmer Soldiers.
