In 1998, Dreamworks announced a traditionally animated feature called The Wanderer, that was going to be directed by the Brizzi Brothers and Simon Wells of the story of a stray bear who joins a group of circus bears and changes their lives with the voices of Ellen Greene and James Gandolfini.
Cancellation[]
The film was cancelled the same year when Simon Wells left Dreamworks to direct his live-action Dreamworks film The Time Machine.[1]
