Gender of Pig[]
Pig was described as "he". Is there a canon source for this gender? The reason is that calico cats are of tortoiseshell-and-white colouring (that is, white combined with two from black, brown and orange), and the genes for black fur, for brown fur and for orange fur are all co-dominant and all occupy the same position on the X chromosome; so the only way two of them can be expressed at once is to have two X chromosomes, which usually means a female (though it can, very rarely, mean an XXY male).
