The Galician dub of the Dragon Ball anime started airing in Galicia.

Dragon Ball[]

As bólas máxicas was broadcast by TVG since February 8, 1990. They got episodes from AB Groupe and first 26 episodes were translated from the Japanese version, but to dub the series faster they started using French dub. The series was recorded in the Galaxia studio. Some names have been changed, such as Piccolo to Piccoro.

It was also aired as a part of the Galician children's programming block Xabarín Club.

It was last broadcasted in Galicia from March 27, 2012, to July 11, 2012, by TVG2.

Dragon Ball Z[]

Dragón Z or As Bólas do Dragón Z was aired on TVG from September 16, 1991. Up to episode 104, the French dub was used for translation. The dubbing was quicker than French broadcast, so the distributor sold the Japanese version for episodes 105-146. This resulted in improved translations but slower broadcasting. In the next episodes, Galician dub alternately used the French and Japanese versions. The series was recorded in the studio CTV S.A.

Some names have been changed, such as Saiyan to Guerreiros do Espazo, Trunks to Toranks, Cell to Célula, Great Saiyaman to Guerreiro Intergaláctico, Vegeta to Vexeta, Vegetto to Vexekou and Son Gohan to Son Gohanda.

It was also aired as a part of the Galician children's programming block Xabarín Club.

TVG aired the series again from February 5, 2005. The series was last broadcasted from July 12, 2012, to January 31, 2013, by TVG2.

Dragon Ball GT[]

The series has been broadcast since 1997 on TVG. The series was recorded at CTV S.A.

Dragon Ball Z Kai[]

TVG began broadcast 98 episodes of the series from 2011, which was recorded in the Soundub studio.

The Galician dub of The Final Chapters was recorded in the same studio and broadcasted in 2016.

Dragon Ball Super[]

After the broadcast of Kai ended, however, Dragon Ball Super was never aired and dubbed in Galician.

Movies[]

1-3 Dragon Ball movies and 1-9 Dragon Ball Z movies were translated. They also translated 2 specials.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (Dragon Ball Z: Batalla de Deuses) and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ were also dubbed in Galician under crowdfunding dubbing, but as of 2020 Dragon Ball Super: Broly weren't confirmed in Galicia yet. Like in the world, the 2 movies were licensed by 20th Century Fox. It retained some of the Japanese and French/Galician terms, in Battle of Gods, Shin as "Kaioh Shin", Supreme Kai as "Kaioh Supremo", Beerus were referred as "Birs-sama", King Kai as "Kaioh-sama", Super Saiyan God as "Deus Súper Saián" (God Super Saiyan), and in Resurrection ‘F’, Sorbet refers the Dragon Balls as "Bólas do Dragón", Frieza were referred as "Freezer-sama" by his army, Whis were referred as "Whis-san", Kamehameha were retained its original Galician name "Onda Vital", A few attacks, like Tien Shinhan's Tri-Beam and Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, retained its original Japanese name, "Kikoho" and "Makankosappo". The insert and ending songs in these movies were kept in Japanese.
