During the Golden Frieza Saga, Gotenks proceeds to humiliate Tagoma while he's boasting about being immune to sophisticated attacks as a result of being forced to act as Frieza's "sparring partner" for four months by headbutting him in his crotch, causing Master Roshi to quip such wasn't a sophisticated move in response.

In the manga version of the Universe Survival Saga, Top, after dodging Super Saiyan Blue Goku's punch proceeded to kick Goku in the crotch, before promptly knocking him to the edge of the arena. The anime version of the saga had Goku utilizing the attack on Jiren in an attempt to gain a slight advantage due to his insurmountable power. In both cases, neither character was disqualified due to there not being any rules to the tournament barring the ban of lethal measures and attacking from the sidelines. Earlier in the latter version, Yurin proceeded to knee Roshi in the crotch after the latter took advantage of his forcing her onto her back to look up her skirt.
