Bio[]
▶️ "No job is too big; no fee is too big."
Lore:
When the hunted tell tales of Gondar the Bounty Hunter, none are sure of which are true. In whispered tones they say he was abandoned as a kitten, learning his skill in tracking as a matter of simple survival. Others hear he was an orphan of war, taken in by the great Soruq the Hunter to learn the master's skill with a blade as they plumbed the dark forests for big game. Still others believe he was a lowly street urchin raised among a guild of cutpurses and thieves, trained in the arts of stealth and misdirection. Around campfires in the wild countryside his quarry speaks the rumors of Gondar's work, growing ever more fearful: they say it was he who tracked down the tyrant King Goff years after the mad regent went into hiding, delivering his head and scepter as proof. That it was he who infiltrated the rebel camps at Highseat, finally bringing the legendary thief White Cape to be judged for his crimes. And that it was he who ended the career of Soruq the Hunter, condemned as a criminal for killing the Prince's prized hellkite. The tales of Gondar's incredible skill stretch on, with each daring feat more unbelievable than the last, each target more elusive. For the right price, the hunted know, anyone can be found. For the right price, even the mightiest may find fear in the shadows.

Abilities[]
Hurls a deadly shuriken at an enemy unit, dealing damage and slowing the target. The shuriken will bounce to any Tracked units who are within a 1200 radius of each other. Deals bonus damage to Tracked targets.
Bounce Search Radius: 1200
Damage: 100/150/200/250
Move Speed Slow: 100%
Attack Speed Slow: 100
Spell Block / Reflection Notes:
Blocked upon impact as primary or secondary target.
When blocked, it continues to bounce.
Ability Disjoint Notes:
Disjointable by primary and secondary targets.
Once disjointed, it stops bouncing.
Jinada has to be drafted as well for it to get applied.
While the shuriken may be small, Gondar's precise aim can cause critical damage.
- The shuriken travels at a speed of 1000.
- The shuriken first applies the damage, then the debuff, then Jinada's spell damage.
- The initial target does not have to be Tracked for the shuriken to bounce.
- Can only bounce to each Tracked unit once.
- Can also bounce to different Track debuff sources as long as the debuff is applied by an ally.
- Cannot bounce to, but can bounce off of invulnerable or hidden units.
- Can deal up to the following amount of damage (before reductions) to Tracked targets per Track level:
- LEVEL 1140/210/280/350 damage.
- LEVEL 2170/255/340/425 damage.
- LEVEL 3200/300/400/500 damage.
- Both leveling up the ability and the slow duration talent immediately upgrades all of Bounty Hunter's currently flying shurikens.
- Shuriken Toss now applies the current level of Jinada on its target upon projectile impact.
- Jinada notes fully apply. If it is not leveled, it is not applied.
- Does not use instant attacks to apply the Jinada. The effects are applied by Shuriken Toss itself.
- Shuriken Toss' Jinada is independent of the Jinada applied by attacks, regardless of cooldown, and works even when dead.
- The 60/100/140/180 ( 90/130/170/210) damage is applied as spell damage in a separate damage instance, it is affected by spell damage amplification and works with spell lifesteal.
- However, it is still affected by damage block sources and Bulwark, but not Resonant Pulse.
- TALENTAcquiring the Shuriken Toss charges talent instantly grants 1 extra charge.
- Jinada applied is based on Bounty Hunter's current ability level when acquired.
Jinada
Ability
Active Attack Modifier
Active Attack Modifier
Affects
Enemies / Self
Enemies / Self
Bounty Hunter plans his next hit, dealing bonus damage and stealing some unreliable gold.
- Upon leveling Jinada the first time, it has Autocast on by default.
- Despite being an active ability, Jinada can trigger while silenced, if set to Autocast.
- Jinada's cast range can only be further increased by attack range bonuses of the same range type as the caster. However, it is not affected by cast range bonuses.
- Both Autocast and manually casting it uses Bounty Hunter's current attack range.
- When off cooldown, Bounty Hunter's weapons emit particle effects.
- Checks its cooldown on attack begin, not on attack hit.
- This means Jinada does not apply when its cooldown finishes during the attack animation.
- Grants regular flat bonus attack damage whenever the ability goes off cooldown, and the bonus is removed when going on cooldown.
- Reduces the target's unreliable gold while granting the same amount of Bounty Hunter unreliable gold.
- Steals gold only when attacking enemy heroes and clones.
- Does not affect illusions and creep-heroes.
- Jinada does not work against allies.
Shadow Walk
Ability
No Target
No Target
Affects
Self / Enemies
Self / Enemies
Bounty Hunter becomes invisible and gains the ability to move through other units until he attacks or uses an ability. If he breaks the invisibility with an attack, that attack will stun the target for a short duration.
Fade Time: 1/0.75/0.5/0.25
Invisibility Duration: 20/25/30/35
Enemy Stun Duration: 0.8/1/1.2/1.4
Grants the Friendly Shadow ability.
Lowers cooldown.
Lowers cooldown.
The court jesters present during King Goff's assassination can recount no other image than a dancing shadow.
- Does not interrupt Bounty Hunter's channeling abilities upon cast.
- The attack first applies the debuff and then the attack damage.
- The Shadow Walk buff is lost upon reaching the cast point of abilities or items, or upon landing an attack. Missed attacks do not break it.
- Casting Track or Friendly Shadow does not break the invisibility of Shadow Walk.
- Bounty Hunter can pick up, drop or attack items without breaking the invisibility.
- Successive casts refresh the invisibility duration.
- Grants phased movement while fully invisible, and allows Bounty Hunter to path through other units, including wards, but not through buildings.
- Upon breaking invisibility, Shadow Walk applies the debuff, then the attack damage.
- TALENTThe incoming damage reduction talent instantly updates the current active instance.
- Applies generic incoming damage reduction on Bounty Hunter. Stacks additively with other sources of generic incoming damage manipulation.
- Reduces all damage types received, except from damage flagged as HP removal (e.g. Sunder).
Friendly Shadow
Ability

Allied Heroes / Enemies
Allied Heroes / Enemies
Applies Shadow Walk and all of its bonuses to the target ally. Allied fade time is 1. Casting this ability does not break Bounty Hunter's invisibility when cast.
Fade Time: 1
Invisibility Duration: 20/25/30/35
Enemy Stun Duration: 0.8/1/1.2/1.4
Requires drafting Shadow Walk to be unlocked.
- Requires Aghanim's Shard to be unlocked.
- Does not interrupt the ally's channeling abilities upon cast.
- Friendly Shadow can be cast without having to face toward the targeted unit, as long as the targeted unit is within the cast range.
- Can be cast on untargetable ally heroes.
- Casting Friendly Shadow does not break the invisibility of Shadow Walk.
- Can only be cast on ally heroes, including clones and illusions, except creep-heroes.
- Does not require Shadow Walk to be leveled to be unlocked, once Aghanim's Shard is acquired.
- However, it relies on Shadow Walk to work, since it directly uses its values , except mana cost and fade time. This means when Shadow Walk is not learned, Friendly Shadow does nothing upon cast and does not cooldown but waste mana.
- Shadow Walk notes fully apply.
- TALENTThe incoming damage reduction talent instantly updates the current active instance.
- Applies generic incoming damage reduction on Bounty Hunter. Stacks additively with other sources of generic incoming damage manipulation.
- Reduces all damage types received, except from damage flagged as HP removal (e.g. Sunder).
Track
Ability

Affects
Heroes
Heroes
Tracks an enemy hero, granting True Sight of the target, and information on how much gold it is carrying. Bounty Hunter moves fast when near the tracked unit and deals critical strikes when attacking it. If the target dies, Bounty Hunter and nearby heroes collect a bonus bounty of gold. Casting Track does not take you out of invisibility.
Self Move Speed Bonus: 16%/20%/24%
Target Critical Damage: 140%/170%/200%
Shuriken Toss Damage Multiplier: 1.4/1.7/2
Duration: 30
Aura Linger Duration: 0.5
Illusion Notes:
Critical strike values shown are before illusion outgoing damage and armor reduction.
Using his elevated senses of sight and smell, Gondar's hits have quite a good chance of success.
- Despite the visual effect, the Track debuff is applied instantly on the target.
- Exposes the target, provides True Sight and shared vision over it.
- TALENTThe affected target's vision is shared with Bounty Hunter and his team.
- Grants unreliable gold to Bounty Hunter and his allies around the target when the target dies, no matter how it dies.
- Allies only get the bonus gold if they are within 1200 range of the tracked hero while alive. Bounty Hunter himself gets the gold regardless of distance, even while dead.
- Can be cast on illusions and the Tempest Double, but does not grant any gold when they die.
- When multiple Meepo Clones are tracked and one of them dies, each clone grants the Track gold around them.
- The movement speed bonus is provided by an aura on the target and its buff lingers for 0.5 seconds. Multiple instances of the aura do not stack.
- The aura does not affect invulnerable or hidden units.
- The critical strike only applies to the caster's attacks against the tracked enemy, other units under their control do not crit.
- If the caster is a ranged hero, already launched attacks do not crit if the target gets tracked before projectile impact.
- Vice versa, already launched attacks do crit if the track debuff expires before the projectiles land.
- If another source of critical strike procs on the same attack, the higher multiplier has priority.
- The visual and sound effects of Track are only visible and audible to Bounty Hunter and his allies. However, the debuff is visible to everyone.
- The visual effects from the movement speed buff are visible to everyone as well.
- TALENTThe shared vision granting talent immediately updates all existing Track debuffs.

Recommended Items[]
Starting items:
- Tango regenerates health for Bounty Hunter to resist enemy harassment.
- Healing Salve also restores health.
- Clarity allows Bounty Hunter to maintain casting his spells, as his base mana pool is quite small and Shadow Walk costs little mana to cast.
- Iron Branch provides attributes that improve survivability.
Early game:
- Boots of Speed are important for survival as an offlaner, and important for getting in position for ganks as a roamer. Buy them as early as possible.
- Orb of Corrosion is a powerful early-game ganking tool.
- Blood Grenade can help in slowing down enemies furthermore.
- Urn of Shadows is a good item to get on Bounty Hunter once he begins roaming, as it firms up his HP pool and gives him some mana regen. Getting successful ganks off will get charges that can be used either to add damage in further ganks or to heal in between ganks.
- Magic Stick is highly recommended on Bounty Hunter, as his small HP pool makes it disparately effective on him and his spells have low cooldowns (and a high mana cost, in the case of Shuriken Toss). A full charge Magic Stick can replenish a large fraction of Bounty Hunter's health, and give him enough mana to cast multiple spells. Magic Wand is powerful for all the same reasons, giving Bounty Hunter additional attributes as well as larger charge storage.
Mid game:
- Arcane Boots increases the mana pool for Bounty Hunter and restore mana to team so everyone can use more abilities on the map.
- Power Treads are giving increased attack speed due to the irregular basic attack speed of 1.5
- Aghanim's Scepter will give Bounty Hunter good attributes, and it will also increase the cast range for Shuriken Toss and will also allow it to apply Jinada on the targets it hits.
- Phylactery will let Bounty Hunter slow enemies and deal damage to them with using Track
Late game:
- Lotus Orb dispels and reflects targeted abilities to protect Bounty Hunter and allies in team fights.
- Guardian Greaves replenishes health and mana to you and your teammates, removes debuffs from you, and the Mend and Guardian Aura abilities are strong during teamfights. It can also be farmed relatively quickly with Track kills.
- Aghanim's Shard will give Bounty Hunter access to Friendly Shadow which will allow him to use Shadow Walk and it's bonuses on allied heroes, allowing them either to escape by running/teleporting away in safety or set up an ambush with a teammate on unsuspecting enemies, chaning the stuns. Using Friendly Shadow on teammates does not break Bounty Hunter's Shadow Walk invisibility.
- Monkey King Bar will give Bounty Hunter lots of attack speed and damage, and will also allow his attacks to deal more damage through both armor and evasion.
- Spirit Vessel, an upgrade for Urn of Shadows will boost Bounty Hunter's health regeneration and mana regeneration, and will also allow him to reduce enemy health and healing.
- Khanda, an upgrade for Phylactery allows to deal even more damage by using Track, converting your attack damage into magic damage.
Situational items:
- Bottle is very effective on Bounty Hunter both as a roamer support and as a midlaner. The low mana cost of his spells and his small HP pool mean that he gets a lot of benefits from the regen, and his mobility with Shadow Walk allows him to bottle runes as needed.
- Satanic allows Bounty Hunter to lifesteal, giving him a measure of sustainability by attacking creeps. The lifesteal it provides is amplified by damage boosts from Track, and the bonus damage and health bonus improve his offensive and defensive capabilities. The most effective time to use it is right before you are about to land a stunning attack from using Shadow Walk
- Linken's Sphere protects Bounty Hunter from targeted spells, on top of the stat and regen improvement. Blocking an enemy from targeting you with a disable or debuff can drastically improve Bounty Hunter's survivability when evading enemy ganks, and can increase the chances of successful ganks by preventing the enemy from counter-disabling Bounty Hunter.
- Orchid Malevolence greatly increases the size of Bounty Hunter's mana pool, as well as giving him powerful mana regen to let him sustain without having to return to the fountain as often. The silence is a powerful ganking tool, as it prevents foes from retaliating during a gank and can help ensure a kill due to the 30% burst damage at the end of the silence.
- Bloodthorn, an upgrade from Orchid Malevolence increases Bounty Hunter's attack speed and damage output. The silence will not only prevent the enemy from retaliating with their spells, but also provide him with multipled over Track's critical hits and True Strike, and a more powerful version of burst damage after silence effect further increases kill probability.
- Desolator is a powerful initiating item as it drastically increases the damage taken from attacking a target with Jinada and Track. The armor reduction helps allies to add their damage in a gank, ensuring a swift kill.
- Revenant's Brooch is a great late-game item to ensure that damage from Track and Jinada with level 25 talent is still going through lots of armor, when Desolator is not enough anymore, and especially when enemy supports buy Ghost Scepter, which will let attacks to go through Ghost Form.
- Blink Dagger and its variants greatly extend Bounty Hunter's already strong mobility and initiating potential, as he can chase and escape over impassable terrain, especially when combined with Track, and "Shared Vision" talent for it on level 20. It can be used in conjunction with Shadow Walk to allow for powerful initiations and chasing, preventing targets from running away and securing isolated kills.
- Aether Lens can be a powerful utility item that aids Bounty Hunter's spell casting. It boosts the size of his mana pool, as well as providing mana regen. The increased cast range allow Bounty Hunter to cast his spells from safer range.
- Abyssal Blade is a main item to prolong the disable from Shadow Walk and Friendly Shadow, and it somewhat mitigates lack of surviveability.
- Scythe of Vyse is an utility alternative item with increased cast range compared to Abyssal Blade, that greatly improves Bounty Hunter's disabling/catching potential. Besides giving him increased mana regen and mana pool, the Hex is a powerful disable that can be used instantly to a target from range.
- Divine Rapier deals double damage under the effect of Track, and it scales even better with Revenant's Brooch turned on, because of the 25% magic damage boost as a new passive, which lets Bounty Hunter's attacks outperform anyone attacks in 1vs1 situations, even against the enemies that use Black King Bar for 50% magic damage resistance.
