Lava Lagoon is the third stage in the Crocodile Cauldron world in the game Donkey Kong Country 2, the third stage of the Krem Cauldron world in the game Donkey Kong Land 2, as well as the ninth stage overall in both games. In both games, it is preceded by Kannon's Klaim and followed by Red-Hot Ride.
Overview[]
The stage itself takes place inside a sunken galleon flooded with scalding water. If the player touches it, a Kong will be harmed. The only way to cooling down the water for some seconds is through the means of Clapper the Seal.

- The DK Coin is at the end of the level behind a false wall, the kongs must use an exclamation barrel to swim up to the Coin in question.
