- “These are all sound effects partially for one of the songs in the movie, Trashin' the Camp. They start wrecking it, and trashing it. We brought in a little bit of sound effects, um... to go with the picture of them trashin' the camp.”
- ―Phil Collins to Tina on Trashin' the Camp[src]
"Trashin' the Camp" is a song featured in Disney's Tarzan. As Terk's highlight number, it is the only song in the film not to be performed by an offscreen Phil Collins.

Appearances[]
Tarzan[]
When Terk, Tantor, and their gorilla friends find the camp belonging to the humans, they are intrigued by the items, and then entertained by the fun noises they make by breaking things.
Shortly, the entire camp has been demolished, and Tarzan and Jane arrive just as the song finishes. Terk is delighted to see Tarzan, but confused and scared upon seeing Jane.
The Jungle Cruise[]
In Hong Kong Disneyland's version of the Jungle Cruise, the song is played by a 1930s radio as gorillas raid a Jungle Navigation Company camp.
Trivia[]
- Mrs. Potts and Chip from Beauty and the Beast are amongst the inanimate objects featured in the song.
- The song's performance appears similar to the Junkyard Band from Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids where all of the gorillas and Tantor make music with the inanimate objects.
