The Searchbar is a location in the 2018 Disney animated feature film Ralph Breaks the Internet. It is where the character KnowsMore works to deal with any internet user who wants to go to a certain website in the internet.
Background[]
The Searchbar is modeled after a library, which coincides with the clothing style of a school graduate that KnowsMore wears. The Searchbar also has 2 tapestries with the word "KnowsMore" labelled on them on each side of it. It is not an actual searchbar on the real-life internet as it has an original design made for the movie. It is made accessible by a door on the side of it
The Searchbar is first seen when KnowsMore helps a female internet user find Ballet tights for her daughter. After finishing with her, he is approached by Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz, two characters from video games who have come to the internet to go to EBay to find a replacement steering wheel for Vanellope's game Sugar Rush. After Vanellope asks to go to Ebay, they are carried off by a pixel cart, with Vanellope thanking KnowsMore, who is glad to be thanked.
The Searchbar is seen again near the end of the film where after KnowsMore deals with another client, Vanellope comes to him and warns him about a horde of clones of Ralph coming, to which she and Vanellope use his searchbar as shelter. When the real Ralph comes, KnowsMore seems to be smart enough to realize that Ralph was cloned by the Insecurity Virus Arthur on account of how clingy he was to Vanellope, who wanted to move to the game Slaughter Race after getting bored with her game. They are later extracted by their friend Yesss from the Searchbar, though KnowsMore stays behind.
It's likely that after the Ralph clones were dealt with, the Searchbar turned back to normal.
