Ralph Breaks VR is a hyper-virtual reality experience inspired by Ralph Breaks the Internet for The Void at Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. It made its debut on November 21, 2018, the same day as the movie.
The experience is a co-production between Walt Disney Animation Studios and ILMxLab and immerse guests into the world of the Internet and online gaming, alongside Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz.[1]
The plot of the ride also involves Ralph and Vanellope trying to outrun B.E.V., a villainous program bent on erasing all types of viruses.
Trivia[]
- B.E.V., the ride's central antagonist, was initially written as the main antagonist for Ralph Breaks the Internet. Though she was scrapped, the character was later revived for the concept of the villainous security system inside Ralph Breaks VR.[2]
