Sanjay Singh met Hailey Banks at Botany Camp.
In "U.F.Whoa!", when Kristine Sanchez sees that Hailey Banks wrote she wanted to "kiss" someone on her to do list, Hailey tries to take the journal from Kristine who admits she only saw the first initial of the person she wants to kiss name starts with the letter "S" which causes Hailey to lie by saying its a guy named Sanjay Singh that she met at Botany camp.
In "Kissed Opportunities", at Hailey's party when Genesis brings the game "Kissy Kards" to the party for them to play Hailey is dare to call her crush Sanjay Singh from Botany camp. Hailey tries to call Sanjay but it went straight to voice mail. Then she tries to call Sanjay again and Beta is on the other line by pretending to be Sanjay on the phone.
In "I Wanna Dance With My Buddy", Scott asks Hailey when she is in gym class if she would be okay if he goes to the school dance with Destiny this year. Hailey acts like she would be okay with Scott going to the dance with someone else instead of her and claims she has a lot of options of who she could go to the dance with. Then Scott suggests that Hailey should go with Sanjay from Botany camp and asks Hailey to show him a picture of what Sanjay looks like. Hailey looks up a picture of hunky teen model online to show Scott what Sanjay looks like. Later on at the school dance Scott realizes when he is talking to his ex-girlfriend Kristine Sanchez that he has feelings for his best friend Hailey Banks who is the one he wants to be with tonight not Destiny because Hailey is his destiny.
Then Kristine encourages Scott to tell Hailey how he feels. Then Scott remembers that Hailey seemed really into super cool fling from Botany camp Sanjay and shows Kristine the picture Hailey showed Scott earlier of Sanjay. Then Kristine tells Scott that Hailey made that guy to save face and that is a picture from a cologne ad. Then Scott agrees with Kristine about Hailey totally made Sanjay up and decides that is going to tell Hailey that he really likes her as more than just a friend. Then Scott runs out of the school to go visit Hailey's house to confess his feelings to Hailey and picks up flowers on the way for Hailey.
When Scott arrives to Hailey's house with flowers in his hand and is about ready to tell Hailey that he has feelings for her that goes beyond friendship Hailey answers the door all dressed for the school dance then Sanjay appears at the door and introduces himself to Scott. At first Scott is confused how Sanjay is real and not some guy Hailey made up when he saw Sanjay's cologne ad. Then, Sanjay admits to Scott that he is asked to model sometimes and how it is embarrassing that he is known for modeling. At the dance, Sanjay and Hailey have a good time and he asks her if she wants to start dating, to which she agrees. He and Hailey then have their picture taken as Scott watches their stuff.
However, since Hailey decided to date him (and because the show was canceled after this episode), Hailey unintentionally dooms the future.
