"Kissed Opportunities" is the second segment of the twelfth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hailey's On It!
Synopsis[]
When Hailey throws a party, she sees an opportunity to kiss Scott as part of a harmless game.
Plot[]
Hailey tries to knock off the next item on her list: throw a cool party. Her set up however is mocked by Beta who notices that it is meticulously planned out. Hailey insists that it will be great because she managed to invite Genesis, the coolest girl at her school, though flashback reveals that it was a haphazard invitation. Hailey is bummed out when the first person to show up is A.C., who wasn't even invited. Becker shows up shortly afterwards, but leaves when she begins to notice that the party is dying out. Bored Murray arrives with a thermos of onion soup as Lucy, Jonathan and Thad arrive, but only communicate via texting.
Eventually Genesis finally shows up and takes notice of the lack of action at the party and reveals that she brought extreme soda as well as the game Kissy Kards, which she got from her older sister. Beta tells Hailey that this is the perfect opportunity because not only can she complete the cool party item, she can also use it as a friendly excuse to kiss Scott, which she agrees to. The card game has each of the kids partaking in a series of challenges and such where they admit things to one another, such as Thad's glasses being merely for fashion rather than eyesight, and Bored Murray having to humiliate himself in front of Hailey's parents.
Beta uses his abilities so that Hailey can easily slide through the game, such as pretending to be the fictional Sanjay Singh. Eventually, Hailey gets the kiss card and Beta manages to magnetize the spinner by having it point at Scott. Hailey goes in for the kiss, only to realize that this would be meaningless as she wants her kiss with Scott to be genuine. She forfeits and tells Genesis that she does not like the game. To everyone's surprise, neither does Genesis as she only did it because she thought everyone would like it. They all agree to simply do what Hailey intended, which causes Becker to return to the party, as everyone resumes having a good time.
