"Right Here, Right Now" is the second song from the feature High School Musical 3: Senior Year and its soundtrack. It appears in two different moments during the movie. It's a duet by Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens).
Summary[]
The first time the song appears it's at the after-party at the Bolton residency. Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) talk about their futures and the time they have left at East High. They perform the song on Troy's tree house looking at the stars.
The second part only appears in the extended version of the movie. It takes place between Gabriella's Stanford acceptance and her trip to college short after, during the song "Walk Away". They sing distant from each other. Troy sings on his tree house and Gabriella on her room's balcony.
The version that appears on the soundtrack is a combination of the two parts.
