Queen of the Carpies

"Queen of the Carpies" is the fifty-eighth episode of the Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on November 15, 1990, and is the tenth episode of the sixth and final season.

Plot[]

The bullying king of the Carpies loses his crown, which ends up in Sunni's hands – and the other Carpies promptly assume that she has defeated the king.

Thus, they take poor Sunni once again to Carpy Mountain, this time to rule as a queen, while the other Gummies must team up with their old foe, the deposed Carpy King, to rescue her.

Trivia[]

• Zummi Gummi appears in this episode, but he only has a few lines.
• This is the second and final appearance of the Carpies in the series after kidnapping Sunni for the first time in the episode "A Gummi in a Gilded Cage", even though they technically appear on every episode of the show, due to their inclusion in the "Gummi Bears Theme".
• Animation production for the sixth and final season was distributed among several different studios. Responsible for this episode is Walt Disney Television Animation Australia.
• Internationally, the sixth season follows a slightly different order (likely following the intended production order more closely), with this episode serving as the first of the sixth and final season.
