"Pluto to the Rescue" is the forty-eighth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Playhouse Disney on December 13, 2008, and is the twenty-first episode in the second season.
Plot[]
Pluto comes to the rescue when Donald and Goofy build a snowman so big they can't climb around it or over it.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey greeting the viewers when the emergency phone rings, meaning someone's in trouble. Mickey answers it, and it turns out that Donald and Goofy built a snowman on Mistletoe Mountain. However, it is so big that there's no way around it, so Donald and Goofy are stuck. Mickey will figure out a way to rescue them, and decides to call Pluto for help. Pluto is ready to rescue Donald and Goofy, and Mickey goes to the Mousekedoer to pick up his Mouseketools: Jingle Bells, a winter scarf, mousekemugs, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
Minnie then arrives, and Mickey tells him what he and Pluto are doing. Mickey was about to stir some hot chocolate, and Minnie has a recipe for it in the kitchen. Three cups are needed so that Mickey, Goofy, and Donald can each have one. Minnie then puts in the right amount of ingredients so that the hot chocolate is made. To make sure it is kept warm during the trip to Mistletoe Mountain, Mickey calls Toodles for the mousekemugs, which keep the chocolate warm.
There are three mousekemugs, and the one that is big enough to hold three mugs of chocolate is the one that holds four mugs. Minnie then sends the mug to Pluto before telling him to make sure that Donald and Goofy get it. Mickey and Pluto then head up to the telescope to find out that Donald and Goofy are at the top of Mistletoe Mountain, having built snow animals all the way up the mountain.
Mickey and Pluto then board the Toon Plane to head to Mistletoe Mountain. Once there, Pluto sees two roads, and Daisy then arrives. Mickey tells them about Donald and Goofy stuck on Mistletoe Mountain, and she mentions that she saw snow animals on the mountain, which mark the way up to Goofy and Donald. The animals are on the path to the right, which is what Mickey and Pluto take. They then pass some snow animals when Pluto drops the mugs containing the hot chocolate, which Mickey catches, but falls down part of the mountain afterwards. Since Mickey is unable to climb back up, he calls Toodles for the winter scarf, which he uses to pull himself out of the snowbank.
Mickey and Pluto then continue up Mistletoe Mountain when Pete arrives, accepting Mickey and Pluto's help. Since Pete is getting tired of yelling, Mickey calls Toodles for the Jingle Bells, which let everyone know that Mickey and Pluto are coming through on Pete's sleigh. There are eight Jingle Bells, and Mickey organizes them so that they are evenly matched before putting the same amount on each reindeer. Mickey and Pluto then board Pete's sleigh, and they continue up Mistletoe Mountain until they pass another snow animal, which is a rabbit.
Mickey, Pluto, and Pete then arrive at the snowman, which is blocking the path. Mickey calls Donald and Goofy, who are still cold. Pluto then digs his way through the snowman, and since it would take a long time, they call Toodles for the Mystery Mouseketool, which is a bucket, and Pluto uses it to get through the snowman faster and get to Donald and Goofy. Mickey then serves himself, Donald, and Goofy the hot chocolate and marshmallows for them to drink. They, along with Pluto, then take the sleigh down the mountain and back to the Clubhouse, where they join the others in doing the Hot Dog Dance before leaving the Clubhouse and Mickey waves goodbye to the viewers.
