Chibiverse is an animated series that is a spin-off to the shorts series Chibi Tiny Tales, which itself was a spin-off to Big Chibi 6: The Shorts, which itself lampooned its source, Big Hero 6: The Series.
The format of the series is similar to House of Mouse in that it uses new bridging sequences around previously released shorts. Additionally, episodes are released monthly as opposed to weekly, similar to PrankStars.
Premise[]
As the intro explains, in an underground laboratory, a group of scientists took objects from various Disney Channel shows and films and put them in a machine, resulting in the creation of a small glowing bean sized orb that, when viewed underneath a microscope, showed a chibi-fied world inhabited by characters from the various shows. The series follows the quirky and comical adventures of these characters interacting with one another.
In the second season, the series switches to a faux game show format.

Trivia[]
- The code at the theme song intro is actually the year when the Walt Disney Company was founded.
- The series was announced only mere weeks before its debut.
- Vincent Martella and Adam McArthur (Phineas Flynn and Marco Diaz's voice actors) both indicated that the series would feature voice acting.[1][2]
- The series replays older shorts, but adds new title card sequences.
- The bridge sequences clock in at around 5 minutes.
- There were a few errors with the show's cable premiere on the Eastern feed. Sometimes, the shows would just appear as colored stripes, and at random times the show would cut to Miraculous Ladybug. However, the western feed had no such errors.
- A mountain in the intro is a reference to Big Thunder Mountain which can be found at 4 out of the 6 Disney Parks around the world.
- This series marks the first time The Proud Family characters have appeared in new media (on the Disney Channel) after a 17 year hiatus. This will later be beaten by a Disney+ Day advertisement, an ad featured a short clip of the The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder's theme song.
