Bridget is a major character in Disney's 2006 animated film The Wild.

Role in the film[]

Bridget is a giraffe and serves as Benny's love interest. She is the only female member of the zoo group and is frequently degraded several times for this exact reason. She's also the only relevant female character in the film. She tends to be the voice of reason of the group, often deterring the others from doing anything too dangerous.

Personality[]

Bridget is quite feisty and a wisecracking. She's also insecure and easily pampered. She is quick-witted and wants to be seen as strong and independent. She also seems to have some desire to have a cub of her own. Bridget is witty and noted for her great sarcasm. She is the most sensible of the group and can be plucky. She respects Samson and is good friends with Larry. She finds Nigel annoying at times (but is also his friend), and loves Ryan like her own cub. She at first finds Benny super irritating and boring, but when Benny falls off the garbage truck, she shows great concern. At the film's climax, she later warms up to Benny and finally kisses him, which makes Benny shocked, puzzled, and happy since he was the one that started it at the beginning. Bridget is often noted for her beauty both inside and out, quoted as a goddess by Nigel.
