The Birds of Paradise Hotel is a hotel seen in the Lilo & Stitch franchise, mainly in Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
Background[]
The Birds of Paradise Hotel does not appear in the first film, but there is a scene in a high-end hotel during the "(You're the) Devil in Disguise" montage. The man working the concierge was unsure but looked through his papers to see if there was some job for her. However, Lilo and Stitch's poor attempt at getting the latter to romance and kiss an elderly woman in the lobby to make him a "model citizen" causes the woman to scream, forcing Nani to flee the hotel with Lilo and Stitch.
According to the letters of the front of concierge counter, the hotel's name is the Hotel Kamehameha, named for the first ruler of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Most of the letters in the second word are obscured by the desk's curvature; however, with only "AMEH" visible, with Nani blocking most of the first letter, which can be presumed to be "K".
If the Hotel Kamehameha still exists in canon alongside the Birds of Paradise Hotel, it is likely that the Pelekai sisters and Stitch are forbidden from re-entering the hotel's grounds after the incident, although there is no way of knowing for sure since this hotel does not ever appear again.
In Stitch! The Movie, Experiment 221 (Sparky), after being activated by Lilo and Stitch, goes on a rampage by shorting out the power supplies both inside and outside the hotel, until he is eventually captured in a glass vase by Stitch.
In the series episode "Clip", Lilo and Stitch capture Experiment 177 (Clip) in a hatbox by the outdoor sign in front of the hotel.
In "Melty", Nani starts her first day of work at her new job at the hotel. Meanwhile, Lilo and Stitch, while meddling with time travel, make eight attempts to capture Experiment 228 (Melty) at the hotel. In one alternate timeline, the hotel is destroyed by Melty. In another timeline, it is destroyed when a cruise ship crashes into it. In another timeline, it is destroyed by Gantu. In the final timeline, Nani had a perfect first day working there.
In "Swirly", a popular TV show called Look at This! broadcasts from this hotel.
In "Drowsy", Gantu and Reuben, disguised as bellboys, attempt to kidnap Regis Philbin at the hotel by using Experiment 360 (Drowsy) on him, but are foiled by Lilo and Stitch.
In "Heckler", Experiment 322 (Heckler) is activated at the hotel, albeit off-screen. Heckler then impresses a crowd of tourists there by insulting the tour guide's hair and shirt.
In the crossover episode "Lax", the kids from Recess drop by for a visit and later spend some time at the hotel along with Stitch, after he and most of the Recess Gang get zapped by Experiment 285's (Lax's) laziness-inducing ray.
