Flare is one of the three starter Digimon that Sayo has by her side. After having trained long and hard to acquire her Mega Form, she first joins Sayo's party as a recruit who was impressed by Sayo's abilities to train Digimon, alongside her future co-worker Tempest and Usagi. Often brash and quick to act first without really thinking things out, she and Tempest often get into arguments on how to approach a fight when Usagi often comes up with the plans that both of them can actually agree on. Flare's greatest strength is the sheer raw power she possesses when compared to most Digimon of her type under control over the average tamer from Night Claw. However, ever since a traumatizing series of events that leads her and Tempest unable to be on the scene to keep their tamer safe from an unknown attacker, she had since became incredibly cynical regarding her own existence as a whole, even after Saju enters her life.
