While waiting for the ultra Neo sends out Sigma, along with his partner, Piedmon, to get rid of Tai. When they encounter, it is revealed that Sigma talks through a computer that can send orders to his partner. Piedmon uses an attack called "Masks Square", which transport them all to a strange dimension that allows Piedmon to warp, allowing him to easily avoid the attacks. Sigma then reveals that he is able to intercept commands from Tai's Digivice 01, allowing him to know what he will do next.
