“ You act as though your actions are of your own volition, but even now you show yourself to be a mere servant. Did you really think any of your actions were of any consequence? Do not worry, little swine, your true masters will soon awake. ”

Deepwoken's Death Compendium, a list of every possible death you can achieve in game.

  • Getting gripped (executed) by a player or NPC, typically by pressing B.
  • Be killed by a monster, such as being crushed by a Megalodaunt or being turned into a Mudskipper by a Nautilodaunt.
  • Drowning.
  • Bleed to death.
  • Burn to death.
  • Fall from a high enough height that your entire health bar and then some is depleted, killing you instantly on impact with the ground/water.
  • Have both your stomach and thirst meter at 0, draining your blood and eventually your health.
  • Lose all of your Sanity, gouging your eyes out and killing yourself.
  • Equipping a weapon that is enchanted with Curse of the No Life King while in The Depths one/one too many times, making your head swell and burst. (You can log before the head explosion happens and subsequently save yourself)
  • Wind-Up removing your presence from the light of Lumen.
  • Log while in combat. (Internet disconnection, being kicked, being banned, etc.)
  • Speak to Yun’shul, Keeper of Hearts without a bell. (Results in a Insta-grip)
  • Die to the Blood Scourge bell, turning your body into a shriveled husk.
  • Die to Jar of Souls or Corrupted Shard Bow bell, disintegrating your body with white flames.
  • Enter the Lord Regent's Throne Room without an audience. This includes talking to him after completing - or failing - the quest.
  • Be unfortunate enough to be struck by a Stone Knight's meteor in The Hive.
  • Get skewered by a Grand Skewer-modified Grand Javelin at low enough health, from a Legion Sniper. Having too many people get hit by this will also auto-execute everyone.
  • Explode. (Cannons, Detonation enchant, etc)
  • Fail the parry check in the Trial of One.
  • Be unable to keep up with The Ferryman's dance.
  • Get automatically executed by one of The Duke’s many Galebreathe Mantras.
  • Get sucked clean of your blood by the overgrown magic mosquito that is Chaser.
  • A death of one thousand cuts during a spar with Maestro Evengarde Rest.
  • Die to the acid rain of Upper Erisia.
  • Try to threaten Akira and fail to meet the Charisma requirement.
  • Get crushed by a Boulder.
  • Get dissolved by acid lakes found at Upper Erisia.
  • Glitch out. (This could mean a number of things, such as being flung by an Ironclad or glitching underneath the map and falling into the Roblox void. In most cases you won't be provided with a death message, and also will sometimes have your life automatically restored upon respawning.)
  • Be detected by the anti-cheat, typically without actually cheating and without being banned. Also known as being AA-gunned.
    • Note: You will not be auto-banned for being AA-gunned, but a log of it will be made. If you die too many times via being AA-gunned, you will be at a higher risk for being banned. Have a clipping software open at all times in case this happens.
  • Mistake the parasite eggs growing on your body for clumps of snow in Layer 2.
  • Realize that Floor 2's escape sequence is one big Risk of Rain reference just a bit too late, or get too greedy with the Kyrsan Medallion chests during the sequence.
  • Be torn from eternity by the instakill orbs during said escape sequence.
  • Find a way to escape the reset timer before it hits zero seconds, without using a combat tag.
  • Be executed in Layer 2 by hitting the wall of the bridge by being blown into it by the wind while knocked.
  • Spit on Maestro Evengarde Rest and be instantly executed for your despicable behavior.
  • Getting knocked by a player, then getting flug into a different universe, then die to fall damage.
