World's Finest #307 is an issue of the series World's Finest (Volume 1) with a cover date of September, 1984. It was published on June 28, 1984.
Synopsis for Superman and Batman: "Time and Time Again"
Superman confronts X'ult, but the villain traps Superman in a time-sphere and after disposing of all the other enemies, X'ult releases Abigail Kent from the time prison and transforms her into Barracuda, making her his loyal partner. With his queen by his side, X'ult reveals his alien origin and the source of everyone's powers as an artifact from his home planet. Then, X'ult creates a monstrous ship made of time remnants and he commands Void to lock the heroes in the Cuban ship's cells.
A few minutes later, Batman recovers and using his Utility Belt, he breaks free from his cell. Later, he helps Null and Swordfish recover their powers before they help Superman out of the time sphere. With their combined forces, the heroes challenge X'ult, Void and Barracuda.
During the confrontation, Batman and Null take down Void, while Superman tries to find a way to defeat X'ult. Meanwhile, Swordfish tries to free Barracuda from X'ult's control and after a long struggle he succeeds. Superman has started to surround the ship at super speed and after the whole ship is surrounded by speed energy, it is taken back in time to the 18th Century, where they belong. X'ult, Swordfish and Barracuda continue their struggle in the past while Null, Void and Batman are the only ones to remain in the present along with Superman. With X'ult gone, Null and Void lose their powers permanently and the heroes take them back to the authorities.

Trivia
- Upon breaking free from X'ult's congealed-time cocoon, Superman states that he hasn't expended so much energy since his race around the galaxy with the Flash. This is a reference to the events of World's Finest #198—199.
