Klaus Janson (b. January 23, 1952) is a writer.
Professional History
Klaus Janson is a German-born American comic book artist, inker and writer. He began his career assisting Dick Giordano. His first published work is the 1973 Jungle Action for Marvel Comics. His first work for DC Comics was done a month after his first Marvel work. Detective Comics #437 was released on November, 1973. His best known works are Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Daredevil for DC and Marvel respectively.
Janson is currently teaching sequential storytelling at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Janson was inducted into the Eisner Hall of Fame as one of the Voters' Choices in 2024.[1]
Personal History
Janson was born in Germany on 1952. He emigrated to the United States of America at the age of 5. He and his family settled in Connecticut.
