Shrapnel (real name Mark Scheffer) was a nonconformist radical and serial bomber from Starling City who became a member of the Suicide Squad after being defeated by the Arrow. He was killed by Amanda Waller, who detonated Scheffer' neck bomb when he tried to escape.
