Lawrence Crock aka Sportsmaster, is an operative of The Light. He is the estranged husband of Paula Nguyen and the father of Artemis and Cheshire.
History
Sportsmaster is present when the criminal organization known as Kobra was working in Santa Prisca with Bane to mass-produce a neo-steroid that is a combination of the Venom drug and the Blockbuster formula. Though the Team manages to stop the transaction, Sportsmaster only recovers one remaining sample and hands it over to The Light.
Sportsmaster is later revealed to be a very skilled associate assassin for the League of Shadows, as he is hired by Ra's al Ghul to assassinate Lex Luthor. He breaks out Cheshire from Prison, much to her annoyance. Sportsmaster ends up fighting Red Arrow alongside Cheshire and they manage to escape.
