Kristen Kramer was an intern and colleague of Barry Allen in the Central City Police Department.

Right after she started interning in Central City Police Department, her parents died in a car accident and her sister Kim was shaken by this accident. Because Kristen didn't pay attention to details, she thought her sister was "fine", and Kim's suicide took her by surprise.[1]

A few years later, she was promoted to full CSI, a few months before a lightning storm gave powers to several inhabitants of Central City.[2] After Barry Allen's constant delays and disappearances almost causing a criminal to walk away free, Barry was transferred to work in Iron Heights, along with Kristen, something that really upset her.[3]
