In the future, Joker would disappear until Damian Wayne's tenure as Batman.
History
Around the time Dick Grayson became Batman, Joker went into retirement.[1] After the emergence of a second Joker, the original returned to action, with his first act being the execution of his self-proclaimed successor.[2] Years later, Joker possessed Tim Drake and took over the Jokerz, often coming in conflict with the new Batman, Terry McGinnis.[3]
