Synopsis for "Hungry Heart"

Soranik Natu and Iolande continue their battle in the Oa infirmary with the Black Lanterns revived from the Green Lantern dead. Iolande suggests leaving the others in the infirmary behind, but Natu refuses. The two Green Lanterns are then confronted with more black rings entering the room.

Elsewhere on Oa, Guy Gardner is wrapped up in a battle with Ke'Haan, who has become a Black Lantern. Ke'haan berates Guy for leaving him to die at the hands of the Manhunters, but Guy disintegrates Ke'haan's body. He flies off as the Black Lantern regenerates.

Back in the infirmary, Natu and Iolande devise a plan to escort the sick and wounded Green Lanterns to Mogo. As they leave, Natu sees Kyle Rayner fighting with the undead version of Jade, his former girlfriend. Natu flies in and saves Kyle from getting his heart ripped out, but Jade tries to get inside Natu's head. Natu punches the Black Lantern Jade in the face.

Also on Oa, Arisa continues her battle with the Black Lantern versions of her family. She is able to get away after blasting them with her power ring.

Kilowog and the rookie Green Lanterns continue to fight off Black Lanterns above Oa. After Kilowog is knocked unconscious, he awakes to the rookies slaughtered all around him. Kilowog's former trainer, Lantern Ermey, has become a Black Lantern and tries to blame Kilowog for his death. The scene ends with Ermey about to pull Kilowog's heart out of his chest.

Vath and Isomat fight off Black Lanterns as they are surrounded by children wearing black power rings. The children are wiped out by a purple light as an Indigo Lantern arrives on Oa to help.
