The Copper Age is colloquially used to refer to comics from 1980 to circa 1985. There is no clear distinction between when the Copper Age ends and the Modern Age begins, but in terms of DC Comics, it is generally accepted that the Copper Age ended with the publication of the 1985-86 maxiseries Crisis on Infinite Earths.
