Avir (New Earth)

Avir was a Green Lantern from the planet Rhoon.

History

She rescued a young girl named Hollika Rahn and raised her as her own daughter. Later, when Avir was near death, she begged the Guardians of the Universe to select Hollika to replace her.^[1]

Avir's service in the Corps didn't go unnoticed, and she earned a spot in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps.^[2] Later, she was reanimated as part of the Black Lantern Corps during the Blackest Night.^[3]
