Synopsis for "Pushback, Book 3"

Hush drags the badly beaten Riddler outside. The Joker arrives to rescue the Riddler, and his henchmen beat up Hush. He warns Hush that he is in charge and leaves with the Riddler.

In the Batcave, Batman is reviewing footage of the saboteur on the rooftops and thinks he knows who the villain was. Robin and Oracle reach the same conclusion: Hush. Batman goes to his last known location, but Hush hides. Batman and Robin dig up Tommy Elliot's coffin, but all that's in it is an old Gotham Gazette, reporting the death of Elliot's father.

In the Joker's hideout, the Penguin accuses the Joker of recklessness. The Joker reminds the Penguin that it's him who's doing all the work opposing Batman, and the Penguin should trust him to deal with it. He reveals that the Riddler has a name he wants, which turns out to be the name of the man who killed the Joker's wife: Oliver Hammet.

In the Clocktower, Oracle analyses a tooth recovered from the fight, and identifies it as the Riddler's. Batman passes along their findings to Detective Montoya, who asks him to tell her everything. He replies that she'll have her hands full soon enough.

Robin arranges the purchase of some new equipment from the Tailor. The Tailor leaves and is met by Hush, who asks the Tailor to work exclusively for him. The Tailor says he doesn't take sides, he takes cash, but he does suggest that if Hush wants to take on both sides, he should get help from a villain called Prometheus.
