Aquaman is a member of the Justice League of America.

History

While investigating the rise in sea levels around Tokyo, Aquaman discovered two gigantic sea monsters that were unaffected by his telepathy. Teaming-up with fellow Justice League of America member, Batman, the two would find Torpedoman near the creatures. Following him to his underwater lair, they'd find that the creatures were really Claw and Magneto. Together, they'd take down the Awesome Threesome.^[1]
