The Mayan Baker's mummified corpse appears in Courage Meets the Mummy.
History[]
Back in ancient times, the baker would prepare a batch of cookies for the Mayan princess and her adviser, the Royal Poobah would present it to her. But before he can give it to the princess, the Poobah would secretly steal some cookies from the jar and sell for money. The Baker caught the Poobah and went to tell the princess, but unfortunately the Poobah got to her first. He first presented the Mayan princess with the empty cookie jar and blames the baker for the theft. Outraged, the princess declared that the baker should have his lips sewed shut, his eyebrows plucked and his body mummified (presumably alive).
Thousands of years later, the Mayan Baker's tomb is discovered by Professor Frith who accidentally brings him back from death. After attacking the Professor, decides to take revenge against Eustace and Muriel who he thinks is the princess and poobah. With some setbacks, the mummy finally arrives at the farm where Courage has hypnotized Eustace and Muriel into thinking that they were the Mayan Princess and the Poobah. After recreating the situation for centuries ago, Courage achieved that the Baker is framed by the Poobah instead. Satisfied and exonerated, the mummy decides to return to his Mesoamerican pyramid to eternally rest in peace and Muriel gives him Eustace's favorite polka-dotted sheet. Unfortunately, Eustace pursues the Mummy only for the Mummy to mummify himself alive and the only thing Eustace can do is shout at him to return the polka-dotted sheet.
