Emerson Black is a character featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, as the Deputy Strategist in the CIA's Directory of Operations. Black later is mentioned within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
He is a colleague and superior of Jason Hudson, who reports to him as his supervising overseer when he's giving updates on the progress of the covert operations.
Biography[]
On September 8th, 1960, Black initiated Operation Red Sweep, a confidential CIA operation in the execution of Lorraine Harrow and John V. Harrow, the parents of Jane Harrow. On September 12th, the operation succeeded in the execution leaving Jane the only witness.
Hunt for Perseus[]
In 1981, he oversaw Russell Adler's hunt for Perseus and kept in touch with Jason Hudson. He made multiple reports involving the teams progress, such as the raid on the Lubyanka building.
If Bell lied, then Ronald Reagan will contact Black and then the latter will contact Hudson to burn any evidence relating to Operation Greenlight.
