Route 10
The train will drop you off at the station for Route 10. You can stock up at the Poké Mart behind the counter inside before venturing outside into the snow. Hop is waiting outside, and he’ll speed off ahead to Wyndon, leaving you to traverse the route at your own pace. Route 10 starts with an uphill slope, before a flat middle area with some grass patches and a number of trainers, and a downhill slope at the end which leads into Wyndon. The grassy areas are filled with plenty of wild Ice-type Pokémon that can be caught, and every battle takes place with hail in effect, so a pair of Safety Goggles is useful to prevent chip damage, as the majority of trainers have multiple Pokémon.
Head up the slope, fighting Doctor Graham, then head round to the east. The first two Trainers, Hiker Douglas and Office Worker Ronald, can be avoided, but you will have to beat either Cabbie Geoffrey or Postman Harper to progress - the latter is an easier battle, although there’s nothing preventing you from doing both if you want the extra experience. To the west there’s a Pokémon Camp where you can refresh your Pokémon, before heading up the hill, beating the final three trainers en route - these battles are mandatory but manageable, with the last of the three being a double battle. When you reach the top of the hill, the weather will clear to reveal the entrance to Wyndon. Head down the slope, making sure to pick up the TM for Stomping Tantrum off to the right-hand side, before entering Wyndon.

Wyndon
Hop enters Wyndon at the same time as you, and charges off ahead to Wyndon Stadium to participate in the Champion Cup. There’s some useful items dotted around, and a Trainer in one of the houses will give you a Rotom Catalog, allowing you to change Rotom forms, if you can beat him in battle. You can also trade a Frosmoth for a Duraludon in a house on the east of the city, should you wish. Otherwise, follow Hop’s lead and head northeast to the Stadium to continue your adventure.
