Fighting styles are one of the four main ways to deal damage in the game, along with Blox Fruits, Swords and Guns.

Fighting styles are an essential part of PvP in Blox Fruits. They are the core mechanism of the combat system in the game, and they can be obtained from the different teachers of a specific fighting style.

Compared to other weapon types, fighting styles involve mostly physical strikes, with less emphasis on weapons or super-powered abilities. Most have three combat moves, while Blox Fruits have 4-5 on average, and guns/swords have only two. Fighting styles tend to focus more on versatility and utility when compared to other weapon types, although some are capable of outputting heavy raw damage.

Most fighting styles focus on utility more than precise damage and have three moves, which allows them to be more versatile than the other weapon types.

Players who first join the game will receive the Basic Combat Fighting Style automatically. Upon learning a new fighting style, Combat will be replaced and cannot be relearned.

Notes

  • If the player had previously obtained a fighting style but switched to another one, relearning the original one will be free.
  • To obtain all fighting styles, it would cost a total of $ 25,400,000 and f 31,500.
  • All fighting styles will keep their mastery even when the player learns a new one.
  • Using a Fighting Style on enemies or players that have Elemental immunity will not damage them.
    • Using Aura bypasses their intangibility.
  • Most fighting styles have less range than Swords.
  • Combat is the only Fighting Style that does not have the Destructible Physics.
  • Instinct Breaking moves can be found here.

Trivia

  • All fighting styles have three different moves, except Combat, which has two, and Death Step and Dark Step, which have four.
    • However, the extra moves on the four-skill fighting styles exist to boost damage of the other abilities, and do not deal damage themselves.
  • Dragon Breath is currently the only fighting style to cost only fragments.
  • Sanguine Art and possibly Combat are the only fighting styles in the game without a "V2".
  • Godhuman and Sanguine Art are the only fighting styles that require Materials.
  • On each fighting style other than Combat, there is the letter M at the bottom left corner of their icon, along with a white or black border surrounding the icon.
  • All First Sea fighting style teachers are Shop NPCs, but in the Second Sea and the Third Sea, all Fighting Style Teachers are Misc. NPCs.
