Washington D.C. (often referred to as solely "D.C." or "Washington"') is a location on Earth that was visited by the Tennysons on their summer road trip. It most notably appeared in the episode Washington B.C..
It is the capital of the United States, and was named after George Washington, not to be confused with the state of Washington, which also appeared on the show.
History[]
Ben 10[]
Dr. Animo lived in Washington D.C. before starting his criminal enterprise, renting an apartment from a man named Roger (though behind on money) while funding his research on the reanimation of long-lost DNA inside of animals. Inspired by news reports of a "diamond man" (i.e. Diamondhead) saving a campground, Animo created the technology that would be used to complete his research.[pop-up 1][pop-up 2][1]
MegaMart was a location within the district, which prided itself on wide selection, and sold items such as Sumo Smacks, Sumo Slammer Cards (with a display case featuring a complete set), canned octopus (not live octopuses, to Max's dismay), possibly sheep's bladder, and pets. The store was the setting for one of Dr Animo's first crimes: stealing electronics needed for his reanimation experiments. It would also hold the first meeting between Animo and the Tennysons.
The Tennysons traveled the city while following after Animo: going to the Natural History Museum, full of exhibits on prehistoric creatures; to the Washington Monument, and the full extent of its altitude; to the science tour of Dr. Kelly's Kelly Industries.

Trivia[]
- This was one of the first locations ever animated for the show, as it was the basis for the un-aired pilot, that later got reworked into Washington B.C..
- When asked how Harangue did not suffer any consequences for his actions during his battle with Ben in Washington in Video Games, including firing missiles at the Capitol Building and other landmarks, despite broadcasting the battle live, Dwayne McDuffie replied "It must be fiction".[DM 1]
