The Solar System, also known as the Sol System,[1][2] is a system of planets that orbit the sun, consisting of eight planets and at least dwarf planet formely.

Appearance[]

The solar system is made up of a bright central star that emits light and heat, surrounded by celestial bodies that vary in size, color and composition. Near the center are small, dense, rocky worlds, some with thin atmospheres and extreme temperatures. Further away are giants composed of gas or ice, surrounded by bright rings and systems of moons. Small bodies like asteroids and comets are scattered in distant belts and clouds, while the whole is enveloped in a vast darkness punctuated by distant stars.

History[]

Background[]

At some point Mars was ravaged by Decka's Species after one or more members ingested flesh and assumed their primitive form.[3][4]

Other species would visit this system mainly Earth, such as the Tetramands creating the pyramids and the Galvans creating Stonehenge as a bad joke.[5][6]

Alien Force[]

In X = Ben + 2, the dwarf planet Pluto is destroyed by the Incurseans.

Original Series Future Timeline[]

At one point in this timeline, Humans created a colony on Saturn.[pop-ups 1][7]

Ben's interaction with aliens eventually opens the door for contact and trade between this system and other planets.[pop-ups 2][8]

Ultimate Alien Future Timeline[]

In 2022 the so-called "Plutonian Revolt" occurred.[MW 1]

At some point the Vilgaxians attempted to invade this system three times.[9][10]

Know Planets and Moons[]

Mercury[]

Mercury[11][12] is the smallest and closest planet to the sun, having an extremely hot surface during the day and cold at night.

Venus[]

Venus[2] is the second closest planet to the sun, it is covered in sulfuric acid clouds, being the hottest planet in the solar system due to the immense greenhouse effect.

Earth[]

Earth is the best known planet in this system, home to one of the greatest biodiversities in the universe and home to Humans and a series of animals and Cryptids.

Moon[]

Moon is Earth's moon. On the moon there is an intergalactic communications station.

Mars[]

Mars, formerly known as The Popcorn Planet,[3][4] is the fourth closest planet to the sun, being a red desert. This was the ancient Martians Homeworld until it was devastated by the Decka's Species.

Jupiter[]

Jupiter[2] is the fiveth planet and is the largest in the Solar System. He is a gas giant with a huge red spot and possessing gigantic storms.

Saturn[]

Saturn is the sixth planet and the second largest in the Solar System.

Uranus[]

Uranus[2][CD 1] is the seventh closest planet to the sun. It is an extremely cold planet that rotates on its side and has a blue color due to the presence of methane gas in its atmosphere.

Neptune[]

Neptune[13][14] is the eighth closest planet to the sun. It is the most distant planet in the system, which contributes to its supersonic winds. It also has a blue color due to methane.

Pluto[]

Pluto it was a dwarf planet that was destroyed.[14] It was the ancient home of the Plutonians.

  • This is the system with the most known life forms and the greatest biodiversity.
