Plushies are a line of merchandise that portray Battle for Dream Island characters in the form of a stuffed toy. They are purchasable through the official Jacknjellify Shop, and formerly through Crowdmade, though the latter no longer produces BFDI plushes.
History[]
A snippet of the livestream regarding if BFDI plushes would be produced
On August 27, 2013, a livestream on the Jacknjellify YouTube channel was hosted by Michael Huang titled "BFDI Livestream." Around the 36 minute mark, someone asks if BFDI plushes would be made. Michael responds by saying "probably not", citing that Spreadshirt (which hosted The BFDI Shop) does not "print plushes". It was also mentioned that figurines of BFDI characters were once available on Shapeways, but they were taken down due to being "expensive" and "impractical".

In the summer of 2017, Michael Huang announced on X that he contacted a plush toy manufacturer to make licensed plushes of BFDI characters. Michael later had an Amazon.com account set up, which was supposedly related to the situation.
In 2018, Michael Huang stated that he had "pallets of plushies ready to be shipped", but he couldn't get them to ship to their apartment.
Later in 2018, Satomi Hinatsu gave an update on the plushies saying that they would be in limited quantities. Satomi also noted that the plushes were costly to produce.
On May 9, 2019, a container containing 375 cartons of Firey plushies was delivered to Jacknjellify LLC by Yangzhou Sheba Toys.

On July 14, 2019, 12-inch plushes of Firey were released to attenders of the BFDI + II Meetup 2019 at the price of 30 US Dollars. They sold out within an hour into the meetup.

On August 14, 2019, the plush was set on sale, announced with "(OUTDATED. See description!) The Official Firey Plush — Foldy now sent through e-mail!". It came with a Foldy papercraft template and a unique code that unlocked 100 times the voting power for the next plush. This video was marked as unlisted, due to the papercraft templates and codes that came with the plush being discontinued. The video has since become public again.
On October 26, 2019, the plush was taken off sale, announced in a community post on YouTube in favour of producing BFB 15.
The Firey plush sold out on July 28, 2020. Michael said that more Firey plushes have arrived and shipped out in November 2020.
The Firey plush went back in stock on November 19, 2020.
The Firey plush is sold out as of February 27, 2021, and is no longer able to be purchased. However, it can still be viewed on the official store.
The Firey plush went back in stock on July 31, 2021, with the price changed from $30.00 to $31.99.
The current Firey plush
The current version of Firey differs from the original. It comes with stuffed limbs instead of shoestring limbs. The shade of orange used is also less bright. It is made by a currently unknown manufacturer.
At the beginning of December, the Firey plush was sold out but could still be seen on the store.
The Firey plush went out of stock again on January 10, 2024.
The Firey Plush has now been restocked as of May 2nd, 2024.
On February 28, 2020, when the monthly wallpaper was shown off, Michael Huang had said that a new plush was in development.[1]
On July 3, 2020, the credits of "Let's Raid The Warehouse" showed a Leafy plush, which was set to be available to order and ship in late July 2020.
A Humany video on July 15, 2020 explained that the Leafy plush isn't proportional to the Firey plush, due to them wanting the plusies to be more huggable.[2] On July 24, 2020, the Leafy plush went on sale for a limited time for 16 dollars on Crowdmade. The Leafy plush was no longer available for purchase as of July 31, 2020.
On August 21, 2020, in the credits of "Fashion For Your Face!", Michael said they've informed their manufacturer the Leafy plushes have arrived and shipped out on August 20, 2020. He gave an update on restocking, saying the Leafy plushes will be available again in approximately 3 months.

On August 25, 2020, Cary Huang showed the first prototype Leafy plush in the Humany vlog "Good's 9th birthday!". In the first prototype plush, her facial features were larger, she was thinner, and her green body was darker. It was changed to resemble her BFDI appearance better.[3]
On September 6, 2020, Cary showed that a second prototype Leafy plush was sent from the manufacturer in the Humany vlog "Putting Leafy in the Microwave". It was close to the original, but with a more pale shade of green than the final version. The second prototype was the plush showed off in BFB episodes.[4]
The Leafy plush went back up for pre-orders on Black Friday 2020.
The Leafy plush is sold out as of February 27, 2021, and is no longer able to be purchased. However, it can still be viewed on the official store.
The Leafy plush went back in stock on July 31, 2021, with the price changed from $15.99 to $17.99 and had a change of manufacturer from Crowdmade to a currently unknown manufacturer.[5] The new Leafy plush is a more vivid shade of green, and has the same limbs as the Pen and 2021 Firey plushes. The new Leafy plush comes with a different tag, more similar to the one that came with Firey.
The texture is also different from the other plushes, and it reacts differently when you pet it.
On December 2022, The Leafy Plush is sold out but can still be viewed on the store. The Leafy plush is available again as of May 31, 2023.
When the Leafy Plush was restocked on Early July of 2024, it got redesigned due to the 2.0 version of Leafy having a slightly innacurate shape, her body now uses the shape made for the Evil Leafy plush, which depicts the leaf shape better.
The Firey Jr. plush

On November 24, 2020, before "We asked TikTok to VOTE the best object - BFDI Mini" was unveiled, Michael teased that a new plush was to be revealed alongside the video and holiday merch in a reply regarding another teaser for the sweaters, socks, and mugs.
On November 28, 2020, a Firey Jr. plush was made available for purchase, alongside with the holiday merch.
On February 27, 2021, the Firey Jr. plush was temporarily not for sale.[6]
As of September 6, 2022, a redesigned version of Firey Jr. is available to purchase.
The Pen plush

On October 23, 2020, Cary Huang uploaded a video to Humany with a plush of Pen in the background before its official reveal. The video was quickly made private as a result.
On October 27, 2020, the Pen plush was officially revealed in a Humany video titled "NEW BFDI PLUSH UNVEILED by cary!", showing he has a Pen plush prototype. No release date was announced in the video because the staff was still working with the factory to make enough of them.
The Pen plush was going to be released on November 23, 2020, but the release date was delayed to around the end of November 2020, which was further pushed to December 1, 2020. It didn't come out on that date, being delayed to a then-unknown date in 2020. It was finally released on December 11, 2020.
On March 13, 2023, the Pen plush officially went sold out.
The Pen plush went back on sale on August 20, 2023.
The Woody plush

On November 7, 2020, Michael Huang posted a photoshoot of the Pen plush, presumably for site images when it goes up for sale. In a reply to the tweet, a "secret plush" was mentioned.[7] Although this was suspected to be the Woody plush, this was most likely the Firey Jr. plush.
On November 11, 2020, Michael Huang said that a Woody plush was in the works.
On November 13, 2020, Cary Huang uploaded another video to Humany called "The Cats are Hissing at each other", which briefly shows the Woody plush. The video was then quickly made private as a result.
On December 31, 2020, Cary Huang uploaded a video called "I cut my hairs",[8] which briefly shows the Woody plush on his chair (at 6:38). On January 15, 2021, in the credits of "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", Michael showed a new plush. It was however censored and only referred to as "UNDISCLOSED PLUSH" and using he/him pronouns. The green thing sticking out turned out to be the plush's tag. On February 2, 2021, jacknjellify made a tweet about the upcoming plush, saying that it will be revealed in a video they're making, which will be posted on the weekend (February 6 or 7).
On February 6, 2021, jacknjellify uploaded "Hello Woody! (Now available to order)", showing off the Woody plush. The Woody plush was originally intended to be released on Monday, February 8, but the plush was released early on the 7th.
The Woody plush went out of stock as of June 18, 2021. However, it could still be viewed on the store.
The Woody plush went back in stock on July 31, 2021, with the price changed from $15.00 to $17.99. It is made by an unknown manufacturer, likely to be the same as the company that made the new Firey and Leafy. This new version of Woody has a different texture than the one made by Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. and comes with a different tag, more in line with the other plushes.
The Loser plush

On July 14, 2021, Michael announced that there are 3 new plushes coming soon.[9]
On September 9, 2021, jacknjellify had confirmed in "You can help BFDI win an Award!" that something big would come out in the next 1-2 months, which was the Loser plush.
On November 10, 2021, one of them was revealed to be Loser on the Official BFDI Plush Store.

The Four plush
Four and X plushes[]
In an email asking who the upcoming plushes were, Jacknjellify support confirmed that the upcoming plushes were Loser, Four and X. The Loser plush has since been released.
On November 23, 2021, jacknjellify uploaded The Loser Plush is here!. The end screen of this video shows that the 2 new plushes are coming "next week" as of the release date of video, although they didn't confirm who the plushes would be, nor was the exact release date revealed.
The X plush
Cary confirmed the plushes are Four and X in a livestream hosted on Humany.[10]
The plushes were delayed to a couple more weeks as of December 3, 2021, due to waiting for them to be truck-delivered.
The plushes were made available for purchase on December 11, 2021, with the release of The Official Four and X Plush.
The Four plushes were out of stock on December 13, 2021, but that was a small portion of the shipment, and the rest of the shipment would arrive soon. They were restocked 3 days later on December 16.
On October 2023, the Four plush went out of stock and were expected to restock in November 2023.
The Rocky plush

On February 1, 2022, Cary was in the chat of a livestream, and a question was asked when was the next plush being worked on. Cary replied: "We are working on a new BFDI plush, but I can't reveal who it is just yet!!!! The characters' name is in my brain, but my lips won't let their name slip out! AAA.", referring to Cary not wanting to tell who the next plush will be.
On February 26, 2022, Cary made a livestream on his channel Humany, and a question was asked who is gonna be the next plush. Cary said that the prototype of the plush is in his house but he can't say who it is.

On March 18, 2022, Cary was doing a livestream for his and Michael's birthday in his channel carykh, and a question was asked about their thoughts of the next plush. Cary said that it's a secret but he also said that we will find out in the coming months.
On July 30, 2022, The Rocky plush was sold at the meetup along with the Lightbulb plush, and the following day, the Rocky plush was available to order online.
Coiny and Marker plushes[]
On October 16, 2022, Cary uploaded a TikTok showcasing the plushes that were released each year, with the 2022 plush being hidden inside a box with its leg sticking out.[11]

One day after, on October 17, 2022, Best BFDI Season 1a moments (according to data from you viewers!) was uploaded. 23 seconds into the video, a plush can be see through the window. It was unknown exactly which character this plush was at the time, as it could have been both Coiny and Donut, due to the shape of the body, but it was later revealed to be Coiny.
On November 11, 2022, during the Humany 100K livestream, Cary confirmed that there are two plushes that will release within a few weeks. He also revealed that one of them is a character he voices. One of the two plushes has arms and their name is in the first half of the alphabet.
In a Humany video uploaded on November 23, Cary confirmed that the plushes will be releasing within 24 hours. He also confirmed that they do not share any letters in the alphabet.
On the same day, the Coiny plush was released, along with the Marker plush.
In early August, the Marker plush was out of stock and they will have more in a couple of months.
On November 5, 2023, the Pin and Bubble plush were announced via community post and were released online on the same day.

On March 28 2024, a promotional image for the BFDI & Inanimate Insanity 2024 Tour was leaked, showing the Evil Leafy plush hiding behind Adam Katz.
On March 29 2024, Jacknjellify would post an image saying "Big announcement tomorrow!" showing the Evil Leafy plush but blacked out.
On March 30 2024, Evil Leafy was announced to be purchasable at the meetup in the video HOST TO COAST - BFDI & II 2024 Tour!, along with a Taco (Inanimate Insanity) plush.
On April 1 2024, animator and BFDIA director FusionAnimations would post a photo with the caption "#lit" which shows the Evil Leafy plush close up.
On April 2 2024, in the end credits of BFDIA 11, Cary shows off the Evil Leafy plush even more.
On May 26 2024, Jacknjellify hosted a livestream with it having the Evil Leafy plush making an appearance in the left corner of the screen during it, alongside Tennis Ball.
On August 5th, 2024, The Evil Leafy plush was released online.
Tennis Ball Plush[]
The Tennis Ball plush
On March 28 2024, a promotional image for the BFDI & Inanimate Insanity 2024 Tour was leaked, showing the Tennis Ball plush sitting behind Firey Jr.
On March 30 2024, the Tennis Ball plush was shown off in the video HOST TO COAST - BFDI & II 2024 Tour!, but not said if it would be available to purchase at the meetup.
On May 16 2024, in the end credits of BFDIA 12, the Tennis Ball plush is shown talking about the upcoming BFDI record, Bops, Famous Ditties & Instrumentals.
On May 26 2024, Jacknjellify hosted a live stream with it having the Tennis Ball plush making an appearance in the left corner of the screen during it, alongside Evil Leafy. Specifically at 19:08, it is finally said that Tennis Ball would be available to purchase at the meetup, alongside Evil Leafy and Taco from Inanimate Insanity.
On August 5th, 2024, The Tennis Ball plush was released online.
On September 1st, 2024, Cary uploaded a video to humany called “BFDIA 6 is 1 year old!” in this video, cary showed a Tennis Ball plush, but it was not a regular Tennis Ball plush, it was the prototype version, which was slightly smaller, about the size of the Firey plush, the Tennis Ball plush ended up getting redesigned to be taller, so it could look like his BFDI counterpart.
Golf Ball Plush[]

On June 28, 2024 (the first and second day of the meetup) people would begin to notice that the Tennis Ball Plush would have a Golf Ball tag, meaning a Golf Ball plush could be releasing soon.
On June 30, 2024, an email about restocks for BFDI plushes would release, with it showing that plushes that would be available after the meetup are: Evil Leafy, Tennis Ball and Golf Ball. This confirms that a Golf Ball plush will not only be made but it is (probably) already ready to be released. [citation needed]
On July 1, 2024, Someone sent an email To Jacknjellify Support, asking about the problem with the tag. JnJ responded “Yes there will be a golf ball plush, to be on sale after the meetups. As for the wrong label on the tennis ball - we just found out from the manufacturer that they put the golf ball and tennis ball labels in reverse. We are trying to come up with a solution and will let Tennis ball and golf ball plush owners what we can do.”
On July 7, 2024, Jacknjellify would finally confirm that a Golf Ball plush will be released alongside Tennis Ball and Evil Leafy after the meetup. The reason why Golf Ball plushes were getting a Golf Ball tag is because the manufacturer of the plushes gave Tennis Ball plushes a Golf Ball tag and vice versa. This could also possibly mean that the first batch of Golf Ball plushes could possibly have a Tennis Ball tag. They are currently trying to find a solution to fix the tag problem, but all Tennis Ball plushes that are purchased through the meetup will probably still have this problem, with it being unknown if Golf Ball plushes will be fixed before their release, and the Tennis Ball plush tag being unknown on how it looks. [citation needed]
During the BFDI & II Tour in Seattle on July 13, 2024, the Golf Ball plush was revealed twice by Cary for three seconds during a Q&A. [citation needed] It was shown twice again in Chicago two weeks later.
On August 5th, 2024, the Golf Ball plush was released.
In September 2024, the Golf Ball plush was Sold Out and was expected to restock on Late-October.
The Flower plush

The Flower plush was announced at the BFDI x II Meetup 2024 as shown in this video on the 18:18 time stamp. Thanks to this, we know the plushie was in the works for a while. Prior to the release the plushie was teased in a community post showing off a glimpse of Flower's petals along with other objects (Ruby and Spongy). The community was split if it was a BFDIA 16 teaser or plushes and for the reason they thought it was plushes is because the Official BFDI plush store had a post saying that "new surprises" would be coming with the re-stock for the store. After some time, Flower and others (Ruby and Spongy) were Jacknjellify's new line of plushes.
The Ruby plush

Prior to the Ruby plush's release, Jacknjellify posted a community post showing the edge of Ruby's body and others (Flower and Spongy). The community was divided if it was a BFDIA 16 teaser or new lines of plushes because on the Official BFDI plush store had a post stating that some "new surprises" where coming with the re-stocks. Like the Flower plush, the Ruby plush was stated by Cary in the BFDI x II Meetup 2024 that the Ruby plush was in the works too, as shown in this video on the 18:18 time stamp. Again, thanks to this we know along with the Flower plushie it was in the works then furthermore released on November 19, the Ruby plush was released.
The Spongy plush

The Spongy plushie stated by Cary that was in the works but no video evidence supports this since it was in the VIP meetup QNA and they aren't allowed to record. Like the Flower and Ruby plushes, they were teased in a community post and the corner of Spongy was shown but some believed it was yellow face instead. The community was split if it was a BFDIA 16 teaser or new line of plushes since the Official BFDI plush store said along with the re-stock of the website "new surprises" would be coming supporting the idea that it was plushes. The release of the Spongy plush was on November 19 with others (Ruby and Flower).
The Fanny Plush
The One Plush
Fanny and One Plushes[]
On July 25th, 2024, Emily Pitcher said in a livestream that One had the most votes so far to become a plush. [citation needed]
On January 1st, 2025, the One and Fanny plushes were released along with Seasonal Shift. Being first announced in said episode selling for $31.99 and $29.99 respectively.
The Leafy plush uses a printed design fabric, which is used to depict her midrib. This also gives the texture of the fabric different compared to the other plushes, where it is coarse when pet against the fibers. Coiny and Marker's plushes also have printed designs but their "fur" is much shorter than Leafy's.
In the 2019 BFDI meetup, the Firey plushes each came in their own cardboard box and unique plastic wrap.
Both season winners have plushes.
The Firey plush came with a Foldy papercraft which can come in any of 12 different colors. The dimensions of the Foldy template are approximately 18 cm by 13.5 cm. It was discontinued as it was out of print in February of 2020. As of the same month, the Foldy template will be sent through e-mail. Currently this template is unavailable; however, a Foldy reprint has been announced.
The first and second BFDI plushes are also the first and second place finishers respectively in BFDI.
The Leafy plush released on the same day as BFB 22.
Some copies of the Leafy plush are known to be defective, having 2 faces on each side. Currently, there is no official replacement or similar service to remedy these defective plushes, but they can be resent to Crowdmade for a refund per their policies on defective products.[12]
Leafy and Firey Jr. are currently the only plushes to have been first revealed to the public through an official announcement before being released. Firey's plush was sold at the 2019 BFDI + II Meetup without any prior announcement, Loser's plush had an announcement after it was added to the BFDI store, Pin and Bubble's plushes were released simultaneously with their community post announcement, and Pen, Woody, Four, X, Evil Leafy, and Tennis Ball's plushes were accidentally leaked.
Leafy was the first plush that wasn't created by Happy Worker. She was instead created by Crowdmade. The second to be made by them was Firey Jr.
Leafy's prototype was created by Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. as seen on the tag. Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Co. would later produce the Woody plush.
Leafy is the first female character to be made into a plush.
There are no other female plushes until the release of Pin and Bubble, 3 years later.
There are some things to note with the release of the Firey Jr. plush:
Firey Jr. is the first BFB newbie to receive a plush.
Firey Jr. is also the first contestant who was still in the EXIT to receive a plush.
Firey Jr. is the first plush of a contestant who isn't in post-split BFB.
Firey Jr. is also the first plush to be of a recommended character.
Firey Jr. is also the first character voiced by Satomi, and the first not voiced by Michael to get a plush.
Firey Jr.'s plush took the longest to get restocked (over a year).
Firey Jr. is the fourth plush to be redesigned, after Firey, Leafy, and Woody.
Firey Jr.'s redesign is the fifth plush to have a BFB styled tag, after Loser, Four, X, and Rocky.
Firey Jr. is the second redesigned plush to still have a tush tag, before and after being redesigned following Firey, since Leafy and Woody both lost their tush tags upon being redesigned.
Firey Jr. is the first redesigned plushie to get a hang tag upon being redesigned.
There are some things to note with the release of the Pen plush:
Pen is the first TPOT contestant to receive a plush.
Pen is also the first plush to receive eyebrows.
Pen is also the first plush to be delayed.
Pen is also the first Season 1 plush who isn't a finalist.
Pen is the only Season 1 plush who didn't come back in BFDIA and IDFB.
There are some things to note with the release of the Woody plush:
Woody is the first plush that doesn't have a closed mouth, but shows his teeth.
Woody is also the first plush to have a circular tag unlike Firey and Leafy, who both have rectangular tags.
Woody is also the first plush to be made by Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Company; who are also responsible for making one of the Leafy prototypes. It is unknown how much involvement they had in the final Leafy, if any.
Woody is the first plush to have a coloured tush tag.
There are some things to note with the release of the Loser plush:
Loser is the first character created for BFB to get a plush.
Loser is also the first original character not from Season 1 to receive a plush.
Loser is the first character to receive a plush after BFB ended.
Loser is the first plush to be released without a release date announced prior.
Loser's asset is upside down on the plush.
There are some things to note with the release of the Four and X plushes:
Four and X are the first hosts, and the first non-contestants to receive plushes.
Four and X are also the first non-objects with plushes.
Four and X are the first plushes to be released on the same day.
X is the first character voiced by Cary to receive a plush.
Four and X are the first characters to get recommended character plushes before real ones.
Four and X are the only characters who didn't actually originate from BFDI to receive plushes.
Four is the fastest plush to get sold out from the store, with 2 days after its release. It is also the fastest to get restocked only 3 days later.
There are some things to note with the release of the Rocky plush:
Rocky is the first armless character, as well as the first character without all limbs to get a plush. The second being Tennis Ball, the third being Golf Ball, the fourth being Spongy, the fifth being Fanny, and the Sixth being One.
Rocky is the first character to appear in all five seasons to get a plush.
Following Firey, Rocky is the second plush to debut at the BFDI + II Meetup, this time in 2022.
Rocky is the first plush of a character to debut in Season 1 to have a BFB background on their tag. Also, Rocky is the first plush to not have their name in all caps on their tag.
Rocky has the longest limbs on any plush.
There are some things to note with the release of the Pin and Bubble plushes:
Bubble is the first transparent character and the first FreeSmart member to get a plush.
Pin and Bubble are the first females since Leafy to get a plush.
Pin is the first female contestant to get a plush who is voiced by Cary Huang.
Bubble is the first member of Pencil's alliance and the first Iance member to get a plush. The second Iance member to get a plush was Flower.
Woody's plush is copyrighted for the year of 2020, despite not being released in that year. This could mean the Woody Plush was originally gonna be released in 2020, but got delayed.
A Firey plush displayed in the credits in some post-split BFB episodes, along with other videos and TikToks, appears to be somewhat different from commercial Firey plushes, as it has a more vibrant/neon orange fabric on him. Due to not being seen prior to the Firey plush reprint, it is possible that this was a sample made and sent to Jacknjellify as a prototype. In 2021, another Firey plush appeared with stuffed limbs. This could mean that Jacknjellify might make another version of the Firey plush.
It is possible that the same company handles all currently available plushes to purchase on shop.jacknjellify.com released so far. None of them are tagged with the company name and have similar materials. The only information available so far is that it's a "different manufacturer".
The Rocky plush's bag is the first time Profily has appeared on any BFDI merchandise.
The Jacknjellify store actively refuses to reveal the company that manufactures the plushes, responding with "it is a new manufacturer" and "they are made in China" whenever asked about it.

At 5 PM on the second day of the New York trip, Cary confirmed that the Teardrop plush was in the works. On November 23rd, an email came out about the plushes, so Teardrop could potentially one of the characters who gets a plush this year.
On January 3rd, 2025, There was an image of a leak of the Fries plush with a red background on it, showing a silhouette of the Fries plush being leaked. The Fries plush may either have his Fries stitched on or have all his 6 fries separated from his bucket.
Liy Plush[]
During the BFDI/II Crew Barbecue Live Feed, at around 01:01:40, Michael replied to a superchat question saying that a Liy plush would "go hard". Another crew member mentioned that the design wouldn't be flippable but the Liy plush, as a concept, would be.

During the 2,500,000 subscriber stream, a question was asked regarding a Bell plush to which Michael responded that if it would be cool, but asks how much string does the manufacture include in the package.
Taco Plush[]
During the 2,500,000 subscriber stream, a question was asked regarding a Taco plush. However, Cary responded that they don't have a Taco plush in the room.
