Lena

Lena is a friend of Samuel, who has persuaded him to desert from the Flaming Fist and now is trying to help him to run away from its soldiers. She will beg Gorion's Ward and party to carry her wounded friend to the Temple of Wisdom to be healed. A Flaming Fist Mercenary to the west would rather have you turn in the deserter for a reward.

She can be persuaded to give up her jade ring in exchange for the deed, or Gorion's Ward can choose to take her ring and not follow though with the request. The ring can also be pickpocketed. She disappears from the map after you accept the quest.
