History
Roger participated in the tourney at Ashford Meadow in 209 AC.[2][N 1]
Family
His relation to the main branch of House Blackwood is unknown. Roger may have been a fourth son, as his personal coat of arms depicted four black ravens on a scarlet field.[2]
Notes
- ↑ Roger is not listed as a knight, per the Blackwood tradition of worshiping the old gods. Although the tourney was reserved for knights only (The Hedge Knight), according to George R. R. Martin and Elio García allowances were made for the Blackwoods because of their high birth.
