"The jagged, fern-covered cliffs rise sharply into the sky and can only be traversed via precarious roads carved into the rock itself. Some of these paths are no wider than a pig!"
Mighty Eagle, The World of Angry Birds Official Guide[1]

The Great Cliffs are a location that appears in the Angry Birds series. They are jagged cliffs found on western Piggy Island, notable for being the site of some of the earliest confrontations between the Angry Birds and the Piggy kingdom.

Description[]

The World of Angry Birds Great Cliffs

The Great Cliffs, from The World of Angry Birds Official Guide.

The Great Cliffs are an area on western Piggy Island, connecting the Slingshot Woods with the Bamboo Forest. They consist of jagged, fern-covered cliffs at a very high attitude, with travel being limited to narrow paths precariously carved into the stone.[1] The Great Cliffs are partly desertic; flora is rare aside from some cacti, but there are areas covered in large patches of grass and red trees.

Angry Birds Trilogy Poached Eggs final level

The final level of Poached Eggs, set in the Great Cliffs, from Angry Birds Trilogy.

In the original Angry Birds, the Great Cliffs appear in Poached Eggs, Mighty Hoax and The Big Setup. In Poached Eggs, the very first chapter of the game, the Angry Birds pursued the pigs from the Cobalt Plateau into the Great Cliffs, where they cornered King Pig and retrieved their eggs.[1] The next day, however, the pigs stole the eggs using cardboard cutouts of themselves and the eggs to mislead the birds. Nevertheless, the Angry Birds rescued the eggs.[2] Long after, the Great Cliffs were one of the many regions visited by Terence and Hal in their efforts to rescue the rest of the flock from the pigs.
