Zabrina Zee is the secondary antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's: Tales from the Pizzaplex story "Animatronic Apocalypse".
She is a new student to Durham Elementary School who quickly becomes the new president of the Fazbear Fan Club. However, she's soon revealed to be a rather rude person after gaining power, and supports Mr. Renner in his acts as his right hand. Compared to the other members, it's ambiguous just how much of Zabrina's behavior was caused by Mr. Renner's brainwashing, if any.
History[]
Zabrina states that she is a new student at Durham, apparently this being her first year. She quickly joined the Fazbear Fan Club, where she made new friends. Once the president of the club, Jason, quits the school and thus steps down as president, Zabrina runs for the role of president against Johnny, and wins. The following day, Robbie - a member of the club - walks up to Zabrina, who seems to have zoned out. On a meeting soon afterwards, Zabrina decides all students will copy other people's homework to not waste time when they can prepare for the Animatronic Apocalypse, and that anyone who shares information about the club to outsiders will be thrown out. Robbie had noticed the students were intensely watching Zabrina, and that during the speech she briefly looked not like herself.
When the school was vandalized with a graffiti talking about the Animatronic Apocalypse, Robbie goes to talk about it to Zabrina. After being shamed for not listing his homework for others to copy as ordered, she questions her about the graffiti, but she claims everything will be fine. Later on, when Mr. Renner enters the fan club's room after announcing the Faculty Preparedness Initiative, he briefly talks to Zabrina, saying something that causes her to look at Robbie in anger.
The next day, Robbie sees Renner talking to Zabrina again, after which she zones out again and walks past Robbie without saying anything. Later that day, he spotted the two and the entire club in a nearby park after Mr. Renner was fired. The man orders the children to eat the dirt as immunity against the "animatronic toxins" and they do as intended, including Zabrina who smiles afterwards. The following day, Robbie sees the Fazbear Fan Club meeting has been cancelled, and later witnesses Zabrina telling Daniel to meet at the park later and eat a beetle as protection towards the Animatronic Apocalypse.
Robbie later goes to the park to see what Zabrina has planned, and finds all the members of the club buried in the ground. When Robbie gets one of his friends, Nathan, out of the dirt, Zabrina wakes up and screams at him to get out. Nathan later explains Mr. Renner told the students to bury themselves in the ground, but when the police comes to the park, the students are all gone. A few days later, Robbie sees every member of the club hasn't attended school, on top of more and more people seemingly being under Renner's control. Deciding he needs to do something about it, he decides to enter Mr. Renner's house to see if his friends are there.
Inside the house, he finds the whole club alongside Mr. Renner. When he tries to justify breaking into the house, Zabrina decides he's lying and, with Mr. Renner's approval, deems him an "animatronic" that needs to be "taught a lesson". The children team up on him and start beating him up, and when Renner tries to join in, Robbie uses a fire poker to impale him in self-defence. As the members start to break out of their brainwashing and leave the house in fear, an angry Zabrina spits in Robbie's face, calls him a loser and then leaves herself.
At the end of the story, it's said that while Mr. Renner is considered missing and cannot be found, Zabrina has transferred to another school.
Trivia[]
- Compared to the other students, it's ambiguous if Zabrina was being mind-controlled by Mr. Renner or not. She's portrayed as an actual bad person while the other students are just brainwashed victims, she seems outright malicious, and has a few scenes implying she is not human just like Mr. Renner.
- This is further amplified by the fact that she was able to climb out of getting buried alive relatively easily despite it taking Robbie significant effort to dig Nathan out of the dirt.
