The Umbrella Monster was the umbrella and doll-themed Egos Monster of the Secret Society Egos and a minor antagonist in Battle Fever J, serving as the main antagonist of the 1st episode.
She was voiced by the late Teiji Ōmiya who previously voiced Steel Mask and Camera Mask in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger. Her human form was played by Eri Kanuma who played Yoko Katou in Goranger.

Past[]
As with all Egos Monsters, the Umbrella Monster was created by Satan Egos' Monster-Making Machine to act as the muscle of his organisation. Together, they were able to terrorise the Earth; causing all of the Earth's suffering and came into conflict with Japan's National Defense Ministry.
Battle Fever J[]
In 1980, Satan Egos launches his ultimate plan to conquer the Earth and sends the Umbrella Monster to kill key Japanese military officials and weaken the country's overall defenses. Utilizing a cyanide-tipped umbrella, the Umbrella Monster is first seen as a human woman assassinating multiple high-ranking members of the National Defense Ministry. In response to the murders, General Tetsuzan Kurama assembles four members of the National Defense Ministry and a female member of the CIA to form Battle Fever J and oppose the Secret Society Egos only for the Umbrella Monster to then murder Bosner Martin; Diane Martin's father. After Battle Fever gain their powers, Egos senses their presence and sends the Umbrella Monster to confront them in a construction yard. Once they meet her there, the Umbrella Monster fails to poison any of them so uses her explosive umbrella to hurt them before assuming her true form. Summoning Cutmen, the Umbrella Monster takes on the team before revealing her origins and knocking them around only to then be killed by the Penta Force Cannon.
Turboranger[]
During the Turborangers' first battle against the Hundred Boma Tribes, they are joined by all ten previous Super Sentai teams which includes Battle Fever. As the Sentai fight, the narrator recalls Battle Fever's many battles which includes their first battle against the Umbrella Monster.

The Umbrella Monster was a violent and deadly assassin completely loyal to Egos but was usually completely silent.

- Expert Fighter: The Umbrella Monster was able to fight off all five members of Battle Fever with just her scythe.

- Umbrella: The Umbrella Monster's main weapon was a large red umbrella equipped with a tip coated in potassium cyanide that could kill government officials in seconds. It was also equipped with explosives capable of causing large explosions.
