The Stygian Inquisition is a group of beings in Hell, separate from the Cenobites, who are responsible for the Judgement of those who enter Hell.
Biography[]
Following the onset of modern technology causing the Lament Configuration to become obsolete, Pinhead brought in the Stygian Inquisition to bring more victims into Hell. Seeking out those in society with inclinations towards depravity, they lure them into their realm through portals hidden in old abandoned houses.
Characteristics[]
The Stygian Inquisition is a group separate from the Cenobites. They are charged with reviewing the sins of those unfortunate enough to wander into their domain. Unlike the Cenobites, who merely drag their victims to Hell after being summoned, there is a lengthy process by which the Inquisition deal with their victims.
Members[]
The Auditor[]
The first one of the Inquisition to be met. Appearing as a bald man in a suit with sunglasses that cover his eyes and cuts covering his face, he is responsible for recording the sins of humans on a typewriter with paper made of human flesh and ink made of their own blood.
The Assessor[]
This gluttonous member assess the sins by eating the pages typed by The Auditor and vomits them into a basin that sends it to The Jury. He seasons the pages with the tears of children. The sins of Sean Carter were so vile, they caused the Assessor to choke.
The Jury[]
A trio of attractive nude women with their faces removed. They pass down the verdict of humans by touching the vomited pages.
The Cleaners[]
A group of aging naked women charged with cleaning their victims by liking them.
The Butcher[]
A large imposing character who wears a mask and carries a large meat cleaver. He also carries his fellow Inquisition member, The Surgeon, on his back.
The Surgeon[]
The final member of the Inquisition carried by his fellow member, The Butcher. He wears a rubber bodysuit with a gas mask and chainmail apron and carries blades. He and the Butcher are responsible for passing sentence on those judged by the Jury.
